Brewskis was founded in
April, 1994 at the heart of
"Notorious 25th Street" in the Historic District of downtown
Ogden.
While searching for a
name for
this vintage, 1940's bar, an old
Saturday Night Live rerun was playing on television. With a little
inspiration from Bill Murray, and the help of a few good brews, we
decided on "BREWSKIS" as the name of our new pub.
Hence, Brewskis was
born, with probably more neon signs
than any bar you've ever been in. The only lights inside of Brewskis are in the bathrooms and
just above the
pool tables. The rest is illuminated by the warm glow of our
fabulous, neon lit, beer signs. It's truly remarkable.
We have a giant, fifteen foot, sports-theatre screen in the
game room, always
playing a sports event.
We have a
superb sound system for the live bands
playing every weekend. We never charge a cover. Our energy level is unsurpassed by any
other bar in the area.
Brewskis also boasts over twenty tap handles and toasts the "best damn
pizzas and
sandwiches
in town". Our unique
appetizers, and killer
salads make Brewskis a local
favorite with all generations. If age is just a state of mind,
Brewskis is the place to be.
